- Partnership with Zelig AI platform shows shoppers converting at 3x rates and spending 3x longer on site
Revolve Group’s aggressive AI investments are paying off with strong financial results. The fashion retailer reported Q4 2025 net income increased 58% while net sales grew 10.4% year-over-year to $324.37 million.
The company attributes much of this growth to AI-powered initiatives. AI-driven personalization enhancements and search algorithm improvements generated several million dollars in annualized revenue gains on the company’s ecommerce websites.
Revolve’s latest AI partnership with Zelig launched an experience allowing shoppers to mix-and-match thousands of items on models in real time. Early data shows shoppers using Zelig’s technology spent three times longer on the site and converted at three times the rate of other consumers.
The technology addresses fashion retail’s returns problem. Apparel return rates hover around 24-25% according to Coresight Research, costing retailers tens of billions annually. Revolve achieved a double-digit reduction in returns through the Zelig partnership.
“We continue to leverage AI technology to drive growth and efficiency while further elevating the customer experience,” said co-founder and co-CEO Mike Karanikolas.
The company’s internally developed AI search algorithm represents a major shift from traditional search. “Traditional lexical search matches specific words in a query to specific words within the product metadata,” explained Daniel Wu, SVP of business intelligence. “The semantic search understands users’ intent, even when no text from the search term matches the product description.”
Revolve’s AI initiatives extend beyond search and styling. The company built its Curated for You platform on Microsoft Copilot integration, allowing users to discover fashion through natural conversation.
Full-year 2025 results show total net sales reached $1.23 billion, up 8% year-over-year. Active customers increased 6% to 2.84 million as of December 31, 2025.
Co-founder Michael Mente sees continued opportunity ahead. “We are in a unique and opportunistic time, and with our strong financial position, powerful brand and momentum in the business, we intend to invest significantly and thoughtfully to take our brands to new heights.”
The company plans future AI features including an internally developed generative AI tool for contextually relevant product Q&A on the Revolve website.
