The Good Patch emerged as a rising star since its 2018 founding. The company raised $5 million in funding as of September 2025 and operates with 81% DTC margins and 77% wholesale margins. CEO Cedar Carter reported the brand achieved cash flow positive status in Q4.
The Good Patch offers over 15 varieties of transdermal patches providing up to 12 hours of sustained relief. The brand expanded beyond wellness into skincare with four new products priced at $15 each: Brighten Up Eye Patches, Clear Up Blemish Microdarts, De-Puff Eye Patches, and Un-Wrinkle Wrinkle Microdarts.
BonPatch reports the US as its fastest-growing market, followed by Australia where the brand originated. The company attributes growth to increased consumer demand for convenient wellness delivery formats.
TikTok drives significant category growth. Wellness products on TikTok Shop generated $2.5 billion in GMV in 2024, selling over 370 million products globally. The Kind Patches brand’s GLP-1 Metabolic Balance Patch surpassed $2.7 million in GMV in one month after launching on TikTok Shop North America.
Consumer wellness priorities fuel market expansion. McKinsey research shows 84% of US consumers rate wellness as a top life priority in 2025, up from 82% in 2024. The global consumer wellness market reached $2 trillion and grows 10% annually.
North America dominates the global market through high healthcare spending and early technology adoption. Asia Pacific projects as the fastest-growing region due to rising health awareness and diabetes prevalence driving continuous glucose monitor demand.
Industry experts note consumer conversion rates remain high once customers try patches. “Once consumers experience the ease, comfort, and clean simplicity of a patch, they tend to convert and stay,” one industry executive told NutraIngredients.
The category faces technical constraints despite commercial momentum. Only brands investing in medical manufacturing, credible delivery technologies, and accurate consumer education position for long-term viability in the scientifically nuanced market.
